La Pizza in Saint Louis

Wow! This place is amazing and every time I come to eat here the service and pizza is amazing. The people who work here are honest, blunt, kind and passionate about their pizza. And the pizza is one of the best New York style pizzas in STL. I would definitely recommend this place! Go try a slice first then get yourself the whole large pizza.Also if you have leftovers I recommend heating it up on a frying pan and covering the lid! It gets the bottom crispy and the cheese gooey again!

The service here is excellent! The staff is extremely friendly.The pizza is great; probably the best New York style pizza in the area.If there's any downside, it's that there is only limited seating.

It's just the best pizza in Saint Louis, as far as I am concerned. And great folks too.

Best calzones, strombolli, and pizza. Their slices like pie slices are huge. Bigger than reg pizza. They only do slices till 5 on Sat. Its my second time here. They make it fresh and it's legit 🔥 best NYC style pizza in down hands down.

Our family is originally from New York so that said its been quite a chore trying to find a Pizza that is half as good as an East Coast Pizza!!! Well.... we finally found it here at La Pizza.... Edgar was an absolute joy to talk with! We obviously understand each others sense of humor and passion for a GOOD Pizza... I seriously believe the special ingredient added is LOVE.... not sure how many cups of it, but definitely LOVE in the preparation, in the making and in the oven!! IF youre NOT a fan of the nasty provel "cheese"... you MUST come here!You wont be disappointed . . .

Cool off the beaten path pizzeria. New York style pizza at its best. The owner hand tossed the dough as we watched. Awesome chef salad with fresh gand cut meats and veggies. Small and quant with cool memorabilia on the walls.

I'm reeeeal picky about my pizza. This is the best! I used to work at Racanelli's...this is what they used to taste like! They have plenty of options, everything is so fresh. The crust...ohhhh the crust. It has that great crunch and yet still has the gentle bounce! This is our new pizza haunt. The lunch specials are crazy good. Their vibes are exactly what you want from a family run restaurant. A hole in the wall that I'm glad we found! We will be back...again and again and again!

I got an 18” Pizza with Italian sausage, tomatoes, basil and green pepper, which feed three people without any problem. Next time, I would add extra cheese. The slices were huge, delicious and the pizza crusts superb. Family operated business are the best.

Great little hole in the wall. Just found it last week and it's one of my top 10 now.

The reviews led us here and we weren't disappointed. Even though my husband prefers a thicker pie, this was the next best thing. Handthrown, chewy edges, delicious middle, excellent sauce and ingredients and REAL mozzarella cheese. Not that hideous travesty of a imposter, provel cheese.🤯We ordered a medium and an order of cheesy, garlic bread, all in all, an A+++ meal. The staff was friendly and welcoming, you won't be disappointed.

Really cool little place actually. The two guys working there had apparently been there for 10 years, and genuinely seemed to be having a good time. I had a great experience, and the pizza was great too. Check out this custom all-toppings pizza! Those dudes made my pizza AND my day!

This was a great find for my wife and I on a trip to St. Louis. Living in Cape Girardeau, it is hard to find NY-style pizza. So, when we saw online that this pizza shop offered such pizza, we were thrilled. The pizza did not disappoint. It was fantastic. Thin crust, great sauce, and nice toppings. All in all, a wonderful pizza that reminds me of the pizzas back east.

Absolutely delicious. I stopped in while in the area and it was a great choice. I live 45 minutes away but will for sure be making a monthly trip to get this great slice of pizza. Staff was very generous and delightful throughout the meal. Totally love this place!

REAL DEAL! Authentic, Authentic, Authentic.Possibly the best non-st. Louis style pizza in town. Anyone from the east coast, especially New Yorkers will find refuge here. Consistently fabulous over the years. Carry out is perfect, easy in easy out. Always nice friendly people behind the counter. A simple Italian sausage pizza is perfection!

Forgot to post the picture before taking a bite 😂. This place is soooo good! The Italian sausage sandwich is the best. The vegetables are fresh. The homemade bread is heavenly!!! I will be back!

Sauce is flavorless. Everything else was delicious. Nice atmosphere. Uncomfortable seating. Not a place for a crowd. Decent prices.

One of the best (if not THE best) place for New York style pizza in the Lou. Small building if you plan on dining in, but friendly staff and delicious pizza pies!

There are so many places to grab a slice it a whole pizza in St Louis. But there aren't very many places that do New York style pizza with a crunchy and chewy crust. I just found one.La Pizza does everything right. I was treated like family by the staff when I arrived late to meet a friend if mine. They offered to warm up the pizza he ordered. It was so good I ate almost an entire pizza.Thank you for treating me right and for making the best slice in St Louis.

Authentic NY pizza! Fresh ingredients hand selected every day. Paul (owner) and Edgar personally prepared our pizza and the depth of flavor was unreal. Crust was fantastic. 100% recommend. They do NO advertising all word of mouth. We bailed from another restaurant to get pizza here and we were thrilled with the food here.

I saw this place on Bleacher Report. I live 30 minutes away and thought I would give it a try for my cheat meal of the week. Dave gave it a 7.4, I say 8.4! Great sauce to crust ratio! Great Chew! 100% worth the money. Black Thorn Pub for Deep Dish, Gias for thin crust and La Pizza for the rest. Glad we went and tried it well worth the wait. Remember we even drove home 30 mins before we ate it. Great job La Pizza!

This is the best pizza I have had outside of New York and New Jersey. Strombolis are excellent as well! We drive 45min each way for this pizza and it is worth it every time.

This place was featured on a Barstool Sports pizza review when Dave Portnoy was in town for the Stanley Cup finals. He gave it a 7.7; anything over a 7 means you would travel to eat it. I don't eat as much pizza as Dave does, but when I do have pizza, I try to find the best. La Pizza is very much among the best. It's almost a shame to eat such a work of art! Perfect flop, the crust has a crispy bite, the cheese has a fresh taste, and the sauce is smooth and has good tang. It feels like an old neighborhood pizza joint that becomes like an old friend over time. I hope I get to return again and again. Best pizza I have had in Missouri, hands down.

My absolute favorite pizza place in St. Louis. Not only is it delicious, it’s got a great atmosphere and and is super quick. Life Pro Tip: if traffic is heavy on 170 South approaching 64, hop off on Delmar and run in for the Lunch Special (two slices of pepperoni and a can of Inca Kola). You’ll thank me later!

I'm a New York transplant and this is by far the best NY style pizza I've had in the St. Louis area. Reminds me of home!
